Vandalism of Bruster's

edit

Hi everyone. I'm the person who originally created this page over a year and a half ago before I had a registered account. I've noticed that there have been vandalism problems in the past. I just want to thank everyone who has kept up the page, and reverted the vandalism edits. It seems like the vandalism is being done by people that have unregistered accounts. I'm going to recommend that this page be read-only except for registered users. Thanks to everyone. Jgera5 18:24, 29 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Can anyone verify what this page says about Bruster's being a "descendant" of Handel's?

He bought the handles by the jerry's curb service in bridge water, either in the late 80s' or real early in the 90s. I remember the name change was about then. My father worked for him when I was a child at the time so my dates may be off. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.154.189.192 (talk) 03:24, 21 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

nonfactual facts in the facts section

edit

the "since you can't eat inside" is untrue for at least one location - E Ridge Road in Irondequoit, NY. they do have window-side counter/ordering, as well as an inside counter. the window counters are occasionally closed, directing customers to order inside. inside, there is a seating area which will, afair, accomodate somewhere between six and eleven groups of patrons, consisting of regular tables and a window-side bar w/stools.

perhaps the facts section needs a revision?

Fair use rationale for Image:Brusters.gif

edit

Image:Brusters.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Vandalism?

edit

Could you be more specific? It seems strange that anyone would "vandalize" an ice cream article; perhaps you're simply upset that someone changed what you wrote.

As it stands right now, the article reads like an advertisement. "Bruce Reed" is mentioned at the beginning of the article without any proper introduction, and I know it may be nitpicking, but the mention of "all-beef" in the list of menu items seems bizarre. —Preceding unsigned comment added by EchoDollHouse (talkcontribs) 20:42, 19 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
