Tafarn y Bwlch
editmsrasnw - I noticed you red-linked Tafarn y Bwlch in the article and I wondered whether you might be considering writing an article on the place, which I would be delighted to see, having often wondered about its history (from the comfort of my car). Cheers, T. Tony Holkham (Talk) 13:24, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
- Dear Tony Holkham, I red-linked hoping to make it the place to say Waun Mawn was near to as it had a big label on Google maps....Now have "virtually been there" using the little yellow man, there does not seem so much there and suspect the red-linking my not yield the article I had hoped. I have a look but can't seem to find much apart from the nice mentioning of an Austin 7 crossing a rattling cattle grid at Tafarn y Bwlch. Sorry and best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 13:54, 13 February 2021 (UTC))
- No worries. I had the same problem when writing the B4329 road article some years ago. There is a (seems abandoned) substantial house there that might be 100+ years old. One day I may stop and make some enquiries. Tony Holkham (Talk) 14:02, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
- Dear Tony Holkham, This seems possibly useful http://www.historicalporttalbot.com/blogging-port-talbot/a-drop-of-the-good-stuff-tafarn-y-bwlch and could be info. you might like but citations could be tricky. Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 14:58, 13 February 2021 (UTC))... But I think this is in a different place near Neath... sorry..
