Double Huit
editI'd like to add a section on the 1930 Bucciali Double Huit (U-16) chassis. According to David Burgess-Wise in his book Million Dollar Automobiles, nobody ever saw the engine actually run. It was eventually bought by Bill Harrah, who had it torn down to get it running. But instead of any working mechanical parts, the techs just found it stuffed full of old newspapers. He insinuates that the Bucciali brothers were at least half con artists. Andacar 19:25, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
