Removed Notability warning tag

edit

I removed this warning tag stating Buck Taylor may not meet Wikipedia's notability standards:

He was a co-star on Gunsmoke from 1967 to 1975. I consider him to be famous enough for his own article.

I've worked on expanding the article, and added references that aren't too closely associated with the subject, so I went ahead and removed the final warning: {{Multiple issues|

I think now that he has a regular role the current hit TV series "Yellowstone," that should put a final nail in the coffin for the "notability" questions. And his starring in this show should be in the first or second sentence of this article, not just in the credits at the end. Thanks! 66.63.0.10 (talk) 19:56, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Surviving cast member

edit

With the passing of Burt Reynolds, isn't Taylor the last surviving cast member from "Gunsmoke"s original run ?

And if so, shouldn't that be mentioned ?

Just curious. 2600:8800:785:9400:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 18:22, 2 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I believe that Roger Ewing is still alive. Karenthewriter (talk) 14:45, 20 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yes, he has a facebook. MoviesandTelevisionFan (talk) 12:53, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

And he has a recurring role in the current hit TV series, Yellowstone, which should be mentioned in the first sentence of the article, rather than just listed in his credits. 108.28.77.166 (talk) 18:45, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
