Removed Notability warning tag
editI removed this warning tag stating Buck Taylor may not meet Wikipedia's notability standards:
The topic of this article may not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline for biographies. (April 2020) |
He was a co-star on Gunsmoke from 1967 to 1975. I consider him to be famous enough for his own article.
I've worked on expanding the article, and added references that aren't too closely associated with the subject, so I went ahead and removed the final warning: {{Multiple issues|
This article may rely excessively on sources too closely associated with the subject, potentially preventing the article from being verifiable and neutral. (April 2020) |

- I think now that he has a regular role the current hit TV series "Yellowstone," that should put a final nail in the coffin for the "notability" questions. And his starring in this show should be in the first or second sentence of this article, not just in the credits at the end. Thanks! 66.63.0.10 (talk) 19:56, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
Surviving cast member
editWith the passing of Burt Reynolds, isn't Taylor the last surviving cast member from "Gunsmoke"s original run ?
And if so, shouldn't that be mentioned ?
Just curious. 2600:8800:785:9400:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 18:22, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
I believe that Roger Ewing is still alive. Karenthewriter (talk) 14:45, 20 February 2021 (UTC)

Yes, he has a facebook. MoviesandTelevisionFan (talk) 12:53, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
- And he has a recurring role in the current hit TV series, Yellowstone, which should be mentioned in the first sentence of the article, rather than just listed in his credits. 108.28.77.166 (talk) 18:45, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
