Uricarrillo94 (talk · contribs) Hi, as I said in the Professional Bull Riders talk page, I have repurposed this page from being a redirect to the Built Ford Tough Series article to being its own page about the Bud Light Cup Series. I think its a good time to take the opportunity to while the bull riding is still small to edit the bull riding articles, such as bulls, bull riders, organizations, etc., to talk about this tour instead of the BFTS and link here instead. This way, when a reader looks articles about this tour, they see the proper information about the tour and rules that were in effect at the time those riders and bulls were competing. dawnleelynn(talk) 19:45, 3 February 2018 (UTC)
Premership
editPBR regards the Bud Light Cup, Built Ford Tough, and Unleash the Beast as one continuous series, with the generic name Premier Series used often by PBR. The three articles should be merged into one should Monster Energy leave and be replaced by a new sponsor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2606:A000:EE4A:BD00:E504:E29:B6CC:E2F7 (talk) 19:03, 5 November 2019 (UTC)
- I see still elite series used just as much. The PBR is not our boss. And this is an encyclopedia, not a mirror of the PBR website. The PBR is currently focused on the present, for the most part. But we are not, our Wiki subjects are from the beginning all the way to the present. Bodacious is being inducted today in the Brand of Honor. He has nothing to to with the UTB. The article that came out on him 10/24 doesn't mention the UTB. When I work on his Wiki article, it's all BLC references.
- Check out Spectrum (arena). It mentions all the names that the arena ever had. And the history of each one. And the arena doesn't even exist now. If we were writing to the present, we would have to delete the article! No, we are here to record the past and the present of subjects. I will protect the past of the PBR for as long as it takes. There are at least a couple hundred links to the Built Ford Tough Series article. The majority of bull riding subjects in this encyclopedia are about BLC and BFTS events. There are maybe 4-5 articles that have UTB events.
- Did the PBR change the thousands of press and feature releases' tour names from BLC and BFTS to UTB? No, they did not. And they should not be changed in current articles here either and they need an article to jump to that makes sense. There's also external articles like arenas and other such articles that refer to these other tour names. What bug bites your butt that these articles exist for the pre-UTB days anyway? The WWE still has plenty of WWF articles in existence. What does it hurt you that these exist. You don't have to maintain them.
- Also, as long as you continue to write unsourced and forbidden sponsored filled content, you are not a real editor. dawnleelynn(talk) 19:44, 5 November 2019 (UTC)
