editThe layout of the article mirrors the structure of high profile articles on Wikipedia which is excellent. In the middle of the article for example the section founding of Cody Ranch and Impact on Surrounding Areas the information is more geared to facts about Buffalo Bill Cody as opposed to the ranch itself. By linking Buffalo Bill Cody's extensive preexisting page on Wikipedia we have all the necessary facts about him and the information of this article should be focused on the history of the ranch instead of the history of Cody. It seemed to read more like a research essay one would right in a history class as opposed to a just the facts encyclopedia entry. There is colorful language such as Cody loved showcasing his new land. With this particular line it seems that the author is trying to sell me on how cool Cody is rather than telling me strictly the history of the ranch. Asyfie (talk) 04:30, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
This is a great article . However , in my opinion , I find certain parts a little draggy . For instance , the part where you talk about the acres were planted as corn, 100 acres of alfalfa and so on , maybe a simple summary of it would do. The impact of surrounding areas could be slotted into the same paragraph as the History because I find it similiar. Perhaps not making it sound like a history paper would make it more interesting , but nevertheless , this article potrayed effort in it as it is well written.
