Bump n' Grind (R. Kelly song) → Bump n' Grind (song) – Only song with an article called simply "Bump n' Grind". We do have an article called Bump 'n' Grind (I Am Feeling Hot Tonight), but I am questioning the notability of it, and I believe that this song is by far the most likely search term - especially given that Bump & Grind 2014 is scaling the charts. - Oppose - sorry but there are too many other Bump and Grind songs not to indicate the artist per WP:NCM, the fact that a bootleg/remix of this has been issued is only WP:RECENT. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:24, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
- Strong Support to just Bump n' Grind - Overwhelmingly clear primary topic as indicated by page views of the other subjects with the same name (including ones with different spelling of and). This was the stable state of the article until it was moved just a few days ago. This move was reverted but then a user, despite the move clearly being controversial at this point, improperly made the move again rather than open an rm. I fully expect that therefore should there be no consensus here the article will be returned to this status quo. Even if it is not, however, the difference between "n" and "and" is stark enough that no one looking for a topic with the term "and" in it would for some reason decide to type "n'".--Yaksar (let's chat) 01:09, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
- Strong support per Yaksar. -- Calidum 02:51, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose. There are several issues here, firstly the "music associated with striptease" is often referred to as "bump n' grind" (or variants thereof). Secondly the artwork shows a capital "N" rather than the lower case n used in the present and proposed article name space, thirdly, three redirects have been created to help people find this page, namely, Bump N' Grind, Bump & Grind, and Bump and grind (song), which was created last year by the nominator. Quite frankly if the song is that hard to find it makes sense to add the artist in the article namespace and it will be able to stay where it is forever - unless it gets deleted. --Richhoncho (talk) 19:14, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a "current hits" pop chart. The popularity of music is volatile and fleeting. There are at least four other "Bump and Grind" songs discussed on Wikipedia (and probably more if someone would bother to go looking for them), not to mention the generic concept of striptease songs. Including the artist's name in the title is also helpful to the reader. We should follow WP:SONGDAB and include the artist's name in the title. —BarrelProof (talk) 16:54, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
- Also, since it seems necessary to say it, the difference between "Bump n' Grind" and "Bump and Grind" is extremely minor and unlikely to be followed consistently either by reliable sources or by people looking for articles – especially since songs are primarily heard rather than read. I'm half surprised no one has pointed out the huge typographical distinction between this song being named "Bump n' Grind" and the other song being named "Bump 'n' Grind". —BarrelProof (talk) 17:13, 4 November 2014 (UTC)

Bump n' Grind (R. Kelly song) → Bump n' Grind – Already redirects here. Unreal7 (talk) 22:27, 5 May 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. Bump n' Grind should not already redirect to the R. Kelly song, but to the Bump and grind disambiguation page which defines this common expression and lists other songs and albums with same and similar titles, even if R. Kelly's "Bump n' Grind" is currently the sole Wikipedia entry with that exact title form. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:37, 5 May 2019 (UTC)

- Support. This is the clear primary topic. There aren't any articles titled "Bump n' Grind" or "Bump and grind"; the primary topic listed on the DAB page is just a bunch of random definitions. Nohomersryan (talk) 21:10, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
- Leaning oppose. The R. Kelly song is of relatively low importance, and the title would be easy to confuse even with those titles that do not match exactly. bd2412 T 17:44, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
