Black Shuck
editThe article, unfortunately, presents myth as historical fact in relation to the legend of the Black Shuck.
This could be easily be resolved by the judicious use of the words 'legend' and/or 'myth' at appropriate junctures. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.12.52.101 (talk) 13:20, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
Photo
editThe photo has no connection with the article. It seems to have been left over from earlier vandalism.--JBellis 07:12, 14 May 2005 (UTC)

Bungay, Suffolk → Bungay — The others are just part matches, check the google search. Crouch, Swale talk to me My contribs 19:33, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
- Support not because the others are partial matches (a reason which has no basis in policy or guidelines), but per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC because the town gets several hundred page views per month, while each of the other articles linked on the dab page get only a fraction of that, therefore the town meets the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC criteria: "much more likely than any other, and more likely than all the others combined – to be the subject being sought when a reader enters that term in the Search box". --Born2cycle (talk) 23:36, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose Bungay language is also just Bungay, as is the river and the castle. 65.93.13.216 (talk) 05:46, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- No one is denying the existence of other uses. The language article got 12 views total last month, while the river got 327 and the castle got 428. But Bungay, Suffolk got over 1300, clearly meeting WP:PRIMARYTOPIC criteria. --Born2cycle (talk) 07:07, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
- Support per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. – ukexpat (talk) 18:28, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
- Support, others are not directly called this. D. Lion West (talk) 22:11, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
- Even though I agree with your position (Support), "others are not directly called this" is not a reason that is based on policy or guidelines. What matters in determining primary topic is how likely readers are to enter "this" in the search box when seeking the others. Entering partial titles when searching for articles about the titles is a very common practice, and can make a topic primary for a given homograph even when that homograph is only part of the title of that topic's article. --Born2cycle (talk) 00:43, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
- Support On inspection of the other articles the town appears to be the primary topic. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 09:54, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
