Irish Genealogy & Heraldry Bill

This Bill is very interesting, but I don't grasp its relevance to an article which is specifically about the South African Bureau of Heraldry. -- Arthur R 17:29, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Grant or Registration

The Bureau of Heraldry does not "grant" arms. They register them as they are authorized to do. Just because it is similar to a grant in the English, Irish, or Scottish sense, that does not make them grants. --Boven 07:05, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

Too much jargon

A few words: Armiger, blazons, and the entire description (well I think it is a description but I'm not really sure) of the Bureau's own arms is double gobbledygook. Where articles that explain the jargon already exist they should be wikilinked to the jargon word or if there is no such article a brief parenthetical explanation or definition will do. Bureau of Heraldry Coat of Arms

I note with interest that this article does not feature the Bureau of Heraldry of South Africa's coat of arms? Why is this? Occasionally I see the coat of arms of the South African government confused as the arms of the Bureau of Heraldry which is incorrect.
