If the Burford Golf Club is revered why is it a redlink? RJFJR 22:15, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- I removed the part about the school being near the golf club. "The school is located at the southern end of Burford, adjacent to the revered Burford Golf Club." RJFJR 13:32, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Founders
editI have removed Peter Heylin. I have been unable to confirm that he was a founder, and per https://www.burford.oxon.sch.uk/school/school-links/school-house-system/ Heylin house was named after an early student of the school, not a founder. Possibly Peter's father was one of the founders, but it seems unlikely that the school would mention Simon Wysdom in its history but ignore another founder. - This 1897 history mentions only Wisdom [Wysdom] being involved in the founding of the school https://www.google.ca/books/edition/Burford/M3ZHAAAAYAAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=burford+grammar+school&pg=PA61&printsec=frontcover It quotes the original cornerstone, which again mentions only Wysdom.
