First military plane
editIn what way is the Burgess H the first, and not the 1909-1910 Wright Military Flyer? [1] Fram 13:48, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- The claim was that the Burgess Model H was the first aircraft designed specifically for the military; the Wright Military Flyer was a rebuilt civil Model A. In any case, the British Army Aeroplane No 1 designed by Samuel Cody was designed specifically for the military and flew four years earlier. And that's not to mention military lighter-than-air craft. --Rlandmann 08:41, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
