Hmm...no age?
editAnd no nationality? Says he was born in Hollywood, does that mean he's an American citizen? Were his parents American? All things that should be in the article I think Jamandell (d69) 18:35, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, he's an American. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.84.19.246 (talk) 01:28, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- Cite that, please. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 08:57, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- He was born in Hollywood, California. Citing the US Constitution, that makes him an American Citizen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.84.19.246 (talk) 02:20, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- And can someone perhaps mention what instrument it is that he supposedly plays? - Arcayne (cast a spell) 08:57, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- By the laws of both Britain and the United States, he holds dual citizenship. The man himself has joked that whether he's a Brit or an American depends on which country he's in at the time.JackFloridian (talk) 21:09, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Photo needed
editJayKeaton 03:08, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
On LiveJournal and such other websites it is possible to get photos of him - especially if you look up 'The Hub 2' convension. However my computer will not allow me to work in the correct files so someone else will have to post one.
- I've posted to the torch_wood community on lj seeing if anyone has a suitable pic for this. Hopefully my pathetic appeal will bring one. Kate (talk) 02:28, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
parents?
editI just can't stop thinking that his mother must have had an affair with Willem Dafoe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.108.52.23 (talk) 01:43, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

editAnswer the question —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.159.34.7 (talk) 23:38, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- No, Burn is not short for Bernard (in this case). -Father Inire (talk) 10:50, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Musician
edit"As a musician"... what does he play? Can we get more info about his musical life? --86.3.86.123 (talk) 19:37, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
More Informations about guitarist/bassist William J Tsamis?
editTsamis is 100% greek surname. I 've recently heard on a greek radio station (www.rockmachine.gr) that William J Tsamis is from Nemea. Does anyone know more about him? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.251.107.141 (talk) 23:07, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

Separated/ divorced?
editIn "Personal life" it's written that Gorman and his wife separated in 2018, but where is the source? I can't find anything reliable on the internet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Valentina-who (talk • contribs) 22:02, 22 March 2018 (UTC)
Nationality and ethnicity
edithttps://www.exit6filmfestival.com/post/2018/06/15/burn-gorman-on-his-love-of-indie-film-and-the-filmmakers-grinding-it-out, this covers both I should think.Halbared (talk) 10:18, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
Family
edit"He is the nephew of Bartley Gorman, considered "King of the Gypsies"."
The cite for this appears to be a comment he supposedly made to Charlie Hunnam on a film set. If true, one would have to accept that Bartley Gorman's brother became a professor of linguistics at UCLA. This seems so thunderously unlikely that I would need to see something more substantial before accepting this as fact. I'll add "has claimed" for now Aredbeardeddwarf (talk) 15:12, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
Names: Hugh Winchester?
editHe is quoted in an interview from 2008 in Torchwood Magazine to have said that his full name were "Burn Hugh Winchester Gorman"; this is reference 1 at the moment. The name "Winchester" was removed from the article with the reasoning that he said in an interview at Chicago TARDIS in 2015 that this was not his name, blaming "Wikipedia, or something". The video where he is said to have stated this, reference 2 right now, is not available any more. If "Winchester" is removed on these grounds, then "Hugh" should be removed, too, right? 2A0A:A541:75FA:0:BD22:9DF4:3CA3:485D (talk) 17:50, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
