Include prequel in S5 article?
editShould the S5 prequel film be included in the S5 article? I would argue it should based on PR for the film, which indicates its content sets up S5. That would also make it consistent with the organization of the episodes page, and provide background that presumably will be relevant later. Drmargi (talk) 20:06, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- I've seen the PR suggesting that it sets up S5, though I'm not sure how they'd do that. I think it's a good idea to include more elaboration on the film somewhere, and this seems like the best place. However, since it's not technically part of S5 (I think...), and if it is notable enough, could it be given it's own article altogether? If not, here would definitely be a great place to add it. - Matt Nix and USA have been pretty explicit that the film does set up S5; I think Jeffrey Donovan has said so as well. Presumably, something or someone from that period of time will come back to visit the present, and affect Michael as well as Sam. It's not hard to imagine. The film may, in time, be notable enough for its own article, but that doesn't preclude adding it to the S5 article. Once it's on (two weeks!) we'll have a better feel for how, but in the meantime, I'm all for adding the description to the S5 article. Drmargi (talk) 23:27, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. I can't wait for it either! Kevinbrogers (talk) 02:02, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Season premiere date (?)
editUp for an opinion on a source; poking around the USA calender, I found a season premiere episode (no title) of Burn Notice, this after a season 4 marathon, and followed by the series premiere of Suits (the new title of A Legal Mind, I'm presuming) on June 23. Only flaw; no title, and it does not designate it as a season 5 premiere, just a season premiere, though, as I stated, it follows the season 4 marathon (an observation I'm perfectly aware is WP:OR, I'm going strictly by the "Season Premiere" designation). I present the evidence, and leave it to greater minds (PS: Royal Pains and the new Necessary Roughness debut on June 29, if anyone's interested). KnownAlias contact 21:16, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
- That seems late for BN, but these changes happen. I'd go with it. The source is good, and the pattern is consistent with past years' season premieres. There is a fine line between judgment and OR at times, but you're on the right side of it I'd say. Drmargi (talk) 21:25, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
- Maybe a bit late, but if the reports of a shorter season of 15 episodes are truly true, the late start would cause them to end on time. KnownAlias contact 21:34, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
- Or I'm just talking; Royal Pains is starting just as late for their regular schedule. Huh. KnownAlias contact 21:37, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

Number of Episodes
editSomehow, I thought I read that season 5 contained 12 episodes, and season 6 had 20. Did I misread that?P3771 (talk) 20:45, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
- The first half of season 5 contained 12, and the second half (not yet aired) will contain 6. Season 6 will have between 16 and 18. Where did you read that? Kevinbrogers (talk) 21:07, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
- I thought I read it on the website for USA, but I guess not.P3771 (talk) 04:49, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
I don't understand that if Burn Notice:The fall of Sam Axe is two years before the pilot of the series than why Beatriz gave the photos in a newspaper after so many years in season 5??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.186.48.197 (talk) 07:11, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
