Merger with John Cameron (British politician) and Rodney Isherwood
editThese two councillors have no notability asserted in their articles independent of representing Burnage on Manchester City Council. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Abid Chohan JASpencer 17:09, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
Mauldeth Hall
editRe: "Mauldeth Hall in Green End was the dwelling of the Bishop of Manchester for more than 20 years, before his move to Higher Broughton."
- According to Hartwell, Clare; Hyde, Matthew & Pevsner, Nikolaus (2004) Lancashire: Manchester and the South-East. New Haven: Yale University Press; p. 252-53 Mauldeth Hall is a large Greek Revival villa, built in 1832-60, for Joseph Chessborough Dyer; extended in 1880-82 by Charles Heathcote so that it could become a "hospital for incurables". After it became derelict in the late 20th century the hall was converted to offices; most of the park and gardens of the hall have been taken over by Heaton Moor Golf Club. On Mauldeth Road is a classical lodge (probably also by Heathcote).
- Mauldeth Road railway station (Fallowfield). Mauldeth Road itself runs westward through Fallowfield; beyond Wilmslow Road it continues as Mauldeth Road West which ends in Chorlton-cum-Hardy at the junction of Barlow Moor Road with Hardy Lane. In 2012-13 the site of Metrolink construction works. The articles James Prince Lee and William Romaine Callender mention the hall.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 01:42, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
Green End Primary School
editI have suggested that the Green End Primary School article should be merged here as it contains little of note. CalzGuy (talk) 10:22, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
