editRemoving Company Endorsements and Products Section
edit- Listing of selected companies can be seen as representing bias or endorsing more weight on a few "selected' companies. It's probably best to continue keeping sections like this out of the article in order to maintain Wikipedia's Neutral point of view
- As policy states, Wikipedia is not a repository for lists, directories or Advocacy of commercial products and/or websites. NPOV requires views to be represented without bias, this applies not only to article text, but to companies, products, external links, and any other material as well. Although it may have been helpful in the past, it is not Wikipedia's purpose to include a comprehensive list of companies, products or external links.
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, its not for individuals or companies to promote products or websites that they have an interest in. However, I'd like to help you by suggesting Yellowikis which can be found here for something of this nature. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 62.77.187.21 (talk) 11:39, 14 March 2007 (UTC).
Notability
editI did some google-ing for Business Activity Monitoring and I could mostly only see it referenced by vendors, eg nothing in the Harvard Business Review or Techcrunch etc. One excption was O'Reilly had a book on Microsoft's ABM tool written in 2009 https://www.oreilly.com/library/view/pro-business-activity/9781430219149/
Overall does not seem like an important topic to me. I'd consider deletion Earlsofsandwich (talk) 20:19, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
