Punk?
editThey are described as a Punk band... Really? I'd say rock-pop at most. Discuss... Jowie 19:40, 12 November 2011 (GMT)

Discography
editThat Discography Box doesn't look right to me, it is totally different to the standard format used throughout Wikipedia. Perhaps this can be corrected. IainUK (talk) 12:06, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Out of date
editThe article states: "McFly and Busted have confirmed a 2014 tour together"
As this is now in the past, did this happen? Any citations to prove or disprove this? Seems like all McFly and Busted articles contain quasi future references that are just out of date predictions!

Busted is

The introduction of the article should be
as 'Busted', in this case, refers to the band as a singular unit. Treating 'Busted' as a plural noun would only be grammatically acceptable when referring to the members of the band. ~Peter Dzubay (talk) 04:46, 23 November 2015 (UTC)Busted is an English pop rock band from Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

- It's perfectly acceptable to use it as a plural noun in British English, and to my ear "Busted is" sounds weird. Furthermore, I would argue that that sentence can quite easily be read as either treating the band as a singular or treating the band as a plural. -mattbuck (Talk) 22:22, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
- It is perfectly acceptable to use 'Busted' as a plural noun in certain cases in both American and British English; however, in the introductory sentence, the predicate nominative is singular, so the subject must also be singular in this case. In the introductory sentence, it would be illogical to treat 'Busted' as a plural noun because doing so would refer to the members of the band, not the band as a group. ~Peter Dzubay (talk) 02:52, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
- English is strange, and the English doubly so. Like it or not, "Busted are..." is universal UK English usage, and since the English language is defined by usage, not prescription, that's what we should use here, as this article is in British English. Google for "Busted is" vs. "Busted are" for a demonstration. -- The Anome (talk) 18:24, 18 December 2015 (UTC)

Mc ≠ Busted
editI will delete all information that cites Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd as members of Busted. This is not due to any silly ill will or whatsoever towards the supergroup that Jones, Poynter, Judd, and Tom Fletcher along with Matt Willis and James Bourne (with Charlie Simpson's blessings) decided to form to tour and eventually record as during 2014 and 2015. But McBusted was it's own thing, despite being priority during that time period to all musicians involved. Proper Busted did not perform until May 11th 2016, their first concert since December 2004. McFly would regroup for a one-off in 2015 and a short tour in 2016, with it's future being very uncertain.
My point is, the page somehow cites Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd as part of Busted. That will be deleted. Any mentions and all Hyperlinks to the McBusted wikipedia page will remain, as it should.
