Talk:Buster Posey Award

edit

I've added wikilinks for all the award winners, even though Shoppach is the only one who's played in the majors so far. I did so because I think that winning this award, in and of itself, is enough to push them over the bar for notability. If others disagree, this is at least a good place to discuss the question. -Colin Kimbrell 21:32, 5 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Award split?

edit

This is very confusing. Baseball Almanac says that the Johnny Bench award was renamed the Buster Posey award in 2019.[1] However CBS says that they are separate awards.[2] A separate Wikipedia page might be required but it isn't very clear. --Jameboy (talk) 10:22, 22 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
