Buzdar (disambiguation) → Buzdar – Buzdar is the name of a tribe, that in the modern context has been used as a surname by its members. The redirect Buzdar is currently targeted to one such member – Sardar Usman Buzdar. Though he appears to be quite prominent at the moment, he's not a clear primary topic with respect to usage (one third of the users who search for "Buzdar" then click through the hatnote to the disambiguation page [1]), and he's definitely not the primary topic with respect to long-term significance (that is much more likely to be the tribe). – Uanfala (talk) 12:37, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
Adding that I won't have a particularly strong objection to going only by long-term significance and moving Buzdar (tribe) back to Buzdar. – Uanfala (talk) 13:46, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- Support it's clear Sardar Usman Buzdar isn't a primary topic. samee converse 14:50, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- Support the tribe gets 242 views compared to Sardar Usman Buzdar's 2,528, considering people looking for the tribe are likely to use the plain name while those looking for Sardar Usman Buzdar will likely nearly always use his full name when searching its unlikely he is primary for the single name. - Support per nomination, Samee and Crouch, Swale. No WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 00:10, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
