By the way, the title of this book "By Way of Deception" is a MISTRANSLATION of the Mossad motto, which is the original Hebrew of Bible verse Proverbs 24:6. Maybe the article should be changed to reflect this... -- User:AnonMoos
- But it is the title of the book, so changing the article title would just be confusing. But you're welcome to write a paragraph for the entry explaining the origin of the phrase and its correct meaning. GagHalfrunt 00:20, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
I get a kick out of how people comment on and edit Ostrovsky's stuff and then neglect to identify themselves :-) --Achim 23:03, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
I just noticed two more veiled edits by people who will not identify themselves and who take away from the message of the book without providing rhyme or reason. Why would that be?--Achim 04:03, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
Hi. New to editing wiki, and I have a question. I added a link to the .pdf of the book, and it was removed. Here's the line history:

I take it this is a reference to a violation of some rule? Please to explain. Oaktreezulu (talk) 05:19, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
Attempt to stop publication - this section says "In 1990 Israel tried to stop the book sale with a preliminary injunction. This was the first time that a sovereign state tried to stop a book publication in another sovereign state" - This can't be right as the UK Government fought a legal case in Australia to prevent the publication of Spycatcher by an ex UK spy (Peter Wright) and lost the case, that was in 1987.81.129.192.34 (talk) 00:36, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
Number of Marine Casualities
editIt is disrespectful to fail to mention the number of Marines murdered in the Beirut bombing. I haven't time to do the research atm, but intend to do so in the next few days. Posting this in case anyone has an objection.Tym Whittier (talk) 19:12, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- Not needed. This article is not about the bombing. Meters (talk) 07:35, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
