Proposal to convert the article into a redirection
editReasons: 1) The article Bromberg (region) of identical subject but with more content, and better edited, exists already. 2) District is a misnomer, since the term "district" is used for Kreise oder Landkreise, which is why the article is also miscategorised unter districts of Posen province, which comprises only Kreise and cities ranked like a Kreis. 3) The list of subdivisions, comprising much of the article, refers to modern time Polish county (powiat) subdivisions which are not identical to the then district (kreis) subdivisions of the region, which are, however, linked in the Bromberg (region) article. 4) The second list of subdivisions of which the area of the Bromberg region formed part before and after its existence rather belongs into an article on the history of Greater Poland and of Kuyavia. 5) The name of the article can become a redirection to the en:Kreis Bromberg (understood as Bromberg/Bydgoszcz district in the current naming usage district=kreis), accounting for the term district in it, or to the "Bromberg (region)", accounting for the originally intended subject of this misnomer article. I redirected to the article Bromberg (region) what linked here and was meant to link to the government region. Ulf Heinsohn (talk) 17:00, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
