editIn History chapter it is stated that in the 17th century Assumption of Our Lady Church is preserved an old medieval fresco in a late Byzantine-Romanian style. Usually in the European historiography the middle ages are considered to be ended around the 15th century. So something is wrong here, unless somebody may add details that could explain the time gap.
