The result of the move request was: not moved. Proposal seems to mean WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT rather than WP:COMMONNAME, but no indication that this topic is primary for the title "C64". -- JHunterJ (talk) 15:13, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

C64C64 (disambiguation) – Per common name, C64 should redirect to Commodore 64 while other uses should be listed at "C64 (disambiguation)", currently I can't move the page since it redirects to it. PyroFloe (talk) 17:59, 11 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

C64C64 (disambiguation) – After my previous failed attempt of moving this disambiguation page, I have collected potential evidences for a possible WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT reasoning move of C64 into what I think is the primary topic, Commodore 64.

First of all, with Google Ngram we can see that it hit its peak in the 1980s, in which the Commodore 64 is the main topic back then than the other "C64" pages. The possible jump in the 1960s is possibly the aircraft as it was discontinued back in 1959, although we can see that with a search, the computer is more notable. Link: [1].

Second, Google trends. [2]

Lastly, analysing pageviews. Commodore 64 is clearly the main topic as it is the top viewed article among the bunch. In comparison, the 2nd/3rd one, the aircraft model Noorduyn Norseman/C-64 Norseman has only a combined ~5,700 views compared to the Commodore 64's ~30,000 page views [3]

The other two articles that are listed in the disambiguation only mentions it briefly. In the Ruy Lopez article for example, the opening chess move named "C64" is only mentioned once (although the opening is notable, the term "C64" only has one mention in the article). The article Renal cell carcinoma meanwhile, doesn't even mention it's code "C64" in the article itself. Please let me know what you think. PyroFloe (talk) 16:55, 3 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. Not sure what happened in the previous RM, but this really is a primary redirect to Commodore 64. The Michigan highway doesn't have an article at all and is just an entry on a list; the field gun has a tiny stub article; the aircraft is unlikely to be referred to as just C64 unadorned (and if so, it'd be as C-64, not C64). • Support per nominator. The Commodore 64 is clearly the primary topic. JIP | Talk 00:50, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Support Per nom. I voted oppose in the last RM, which was laid out pretty unconvincingly, but the actual statistics have convinced me that Commodore 64 is primary.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 14:46, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
