Relation to broader ideas of game theory.
editI've taken a look at the cited resources. It doesn't seem particularly clear that this is a game as defined by Nash or that this exists as an idea outside of Garrett Hardin's world (and his own "society" website)
Typically, games (in the theoretical sense) are defined in a very formal fashion with many rules dictating the circumstances of cooperation and competition, what sort of data is available to each participant and very specifically defined reactions to events. There is no attempt to explain CC-PP's characteristic function, normal form or more basic specifications like information, actions, outcomes and payoff's.
Payoff matrix
editThe given payoff matrix seems not to describe a prisoner's dilemma, as the optimal choice for each player depends on the other player's choice. The lower right payoff should be 70,70 to meet the criteria for a PD. Timzog (talk) 00:25, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
