Urania (F 553)
edit"She was commissioned to the Italian Navy as an anti-submarine warfare (ASW) corvette named Urania (F 553) on 9 September 1987."
This claims is unsourced and seems to be false, but I'd like confirmation before a change is made. This website claims she was the Danaide (F 553). Wikipedia also redirects Danaide (F 553) to this page, so I suspect its correct.
The U.S. Naval Institute has photos in their collection of the ship calling it the Danaide, which I will try to find and link later. Breich9 (talk) 16:50, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- The RN Urania seems to have the hull number F 570. Breich9 (talk) 17:09, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- Looks like a cut and paste error. I think Urania is CGS Mansoor Ali. See [1] Lyndaship (talk) 18:10, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
