Q94 Rocks winnipeggers

Someone posted a Sun article to the Wikipedia entry. Perhaps you can just quote small snippets from the article, and cite it at the end in a References subsection. Also no date was included for the Sun article. If CHIQ-FM (Q94) changes its call letters or station nickname, that they'll return to the ol' Q94 just like CFRW did in '02. -- Jimj wpg 15:01, 29 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Q-94 fm Winnipeg

edit

To all who have an interest in keeping a piece of Winnipeg's heritage alive.

I noticed when I first attempted to look up information on Wikipedia on the recent controversial issue of Q-94 declaring that the station would no longer exist in it's current format that there was a total lack of information on this historic station.

Meanwhile a station like HOT103 witch is cool less than a 10 year existence has far more coverage right down to every incarnation of its logo.

I feel that every interested party should build up this particaular page so that future generations can remember the superior format of this station with facts and trivia.

Perhaps this may even prompt management of the station to save Q-94 fm which would be good

Thanks for listening...

Fair use rationale for Image:Q94 logo circa late 90s.jpg

Image:Q94 logo circa late 90s.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:56, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Moving page to CHNW-FM

edit

The station changed call letters to CHNW-FM two weeks ago. Are we able to get the page moved and override the article that formerly used these call letters? Alex jirgens (talk) November 1, 2021

Looking into it, I've determined that the other CHNW-FM in New Westminster does not appear to actually be a CRTC-licensed radio station at all — rather, it's a license-exempt low-power emergency information service of the type that doesn't actually qualify for Wikipedia articles under WP:BCAST at all anymore. Accordingly, I've initiated Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CHNW-FM to get rid of it. Bearcat (talk) 13:42, 3 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
