Default this page to Cascading Style Sheets?

It seems to me that this page should default to the Cascading Style Sheets page, and have a link from there back to this disambiguation. 30 results pass in Google before any of the disambiguations on this page other than Cascading Style Sheets appear.

I'll come back to this after a month, and if there aren't any disagreements, I'll go ahead and do so.

I don't think that is a bad idea. When people search for "CSS" or when they say "CSS", they usually mean "Cascading Style Sheets." —Tokek 12:10, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

I agree in this case, Cascading Style Sheets is the primary meaning. But in general, we should be careful. Things related to the web or computer often show up more on Google than their actual real-world importance. It is also impossible to know what people usually mean by an acronym unless you talk with people with all kinds of backgrounds, jobs and hobbies. Meant to comment here before you moved it. Just though I'd say I agree with the move. Although, not quite on the same level, like the British Broadcasting Corporation, Cascading Style Sheets are rarely referred to by their full name even outside of the relevant context (web design, broadcasting). CSS also stands for 'Content Scrambling System'

I would like to suggest the creation of a CSS disambiguation page as CSS can also stand for 'Content Scrambling System' (as used on DVDs).

It can also be used as a short form of 'Counter-Strike Source', so I agree Chef Brian 01:53, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

CSS was moved to CSS (disambiguation) per suggestion. After looking at "What links here", redirecting CSS to Content Scrambling System seemed reasonable. Template:Redirect was also used.—Tokek 23:46, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

dab as default

Cascading Style Sheets might be the most prominent meaning of CSS, but some of the other meanings are quite widespread as well, especially Content Scrambling System. I disagree with the assertion in the above thread that stylesheets are the only thing that the bare acronym would usually refer to. CSS the band is very rarely referred to by their full name, and hardly anyone calls Content Scrambling System anything besides CSS. That the wikipedia entry for CSS goes directly to stylesheets and not this dab page in inappropriate, given the other well-used meanings. I'm going to be bold and remove that redirect.
