Official name

edit

Will anyone looking for a Wikipedia article on Bravo! search for "Bravo! NewStyleArtsChannel"? I don't think so. Let's move it back. Ground Zero | t 16:39, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

The official name of the channel is "Bravo!", there is no other service or anything else that has the same name, that includes the "!", so the article says the way it is as "Bravo!" MusiMax 18:10, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

update needed: any art programming still on Bravo?

edit

What art programming does Bravo currently air? Start of article has "Bravo maintains an entertainment format, with a particular focus on television dramas, films and art-related programming."

I checked a week of Bravo's schedule (starting Nov17, 7pm):
  • Criminal Minds: police drama * 2 (9pm) + 4 (1am) + 1 (1:15am) + 1 (3:15am) + 1 (4am) + 6 (noon) + 5 (5pm) = total twenty
  • Flashpoint, police drama : 2 (7am) + 5 (8am) + 2 (10am) + 1 (1pm) + 1 (2pm) + 5 (4pm) + 1 (6pm) = total seventeen
  • Cold Squad, police procedural : 5 (6am) + 5 (10am) + 5 (3pm) = total fifteen
  • Listener, sci-fi/drama of telepath helping police : 5 (7pm) + 4 (11pm) + 1 (at 11:30pm) + 5 (9am) = total fifteen
  • Blue Bloods, police drama  : 5 (8pm) + 4 (2am) + 1 (2:15am) + 4 (5am) = total fourteen
  • Person of Interest, a sci-fi crime drama : 1 (9pm) + 4 (midnight) + 1 (3am) + 4 (1pm) + 4 (6pm) = total fourteen
  • Due South, crime drama : 5 (7am) + 5 (11am) = total ten
  • Twice in a Lifetime, mystery/drama : 2 (6am) + 2 (9am) + 4 (2pm) = total eight
  • Missing (Canadian TV series), crime drama : 1 (5am) + 2 (8am) + 2 (11am) = total five
  • Kingdom (2014 TV series), drama with backdrop of MMA (combat sport) : 1 (10pm) + 1 (12:15am) + 1 (3am) = total three
  • Castle (TV series), crime drama : 1 (10pm) + 1 (noon) = total two
  • The Fall, a crime drama : 1 (10pm) + 1 (4:15am) = total two
  • The People's Couch, (reality TV?): 1 (5:30am) + 1 (1pm) = total two
  • White Collar, police-procedural : 1 (10pm) + 1 (4am) = total two
  • Forever (U.S. TV series), fantasy crime drama : 1 (11pm) = total one
  • The Mysteries of Laura, police procedural comedy-drama : 1 (midnight) = total one
  • Christmas FILMs: two (at 8pm) + two (at 9pm) + three (at 3am) + one (at 6pm) + one (at 6:05pm) = nine
  • other FILMs: Notting Hill (romantic comedy)(10pm and 1pm) + Kate & Leopold (romantic-comedy fantasy) (12:30am and 3:30pm) + Murder by Numbers (thriller)(1am) + The Client (legal thriller)(3:30am) + Music of the Heart (drama)(1:30pm) + Finding Neverland (semi-biographical)(at 4:05pm) = eight showings
None of those sound like art-related programming. --EarthFurst (talk) 04:11, 22 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
