This is a valuable contribution, with a great deal of helpful information. The entry is well-constructed, with excellent use of reliable sources. It parallels other entries on indigenous people of Costa Rica, such as Maleku people, Bribri people, Ngäbe people, and Boruca people, which appear to have been consulted in the contstruction of this article. Note that it would be helpful to have links from other articles to this one, especially from pages such as Indigenous peoples of the Americas. (I have added one to that last, but others on related topics should be reviewed for interlinking.) Hoopes (talk) 15:33, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
The article is excellent at present, but can still benefit from the addition of relevant hyperlinks, especially to topics such as Chibchan languages and the Isthmo-Colombian Area, ones that will help with the interconnectivity of information in Wikipedia. As noted above, adding hyperlinks from other articles to this one will also assist with that. Review the ones that I have added and consider which others would be helpful. The "See also" section is helpful, but these are articles that can also be hyperlinked within the article itself. Hoopes (talk) 15:33, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
In general, it is good to be cautious about adding hyperlinks for article that do not yet exist if the topics are not ones that are likely to be developed soon. If it is possible to create just short, initial entries for these, that will facilitate their development. It is also not a typical Wikipedia style to include in-text citations. These are better included as footnotes, with full references provided in the notes and the bibliography sections. The section on "Further reading" is quite useful and the "References" section is also well done. Hoopes (talk) 15:33, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
When the article is augmented, it would be good to include additional information about the past and present experiences of the Cabécar people. A section on archaeology that mentions cultural sequences and sites in Cabécar territory would be helpful. There could also be a section on the history of initial Spanish contact and the effects of the Spanish conquest on the Cabécar people. A section on the current political experiences of Cabécar people in Costa Rica would also be a valuable addition. Hoopes (talk) 15:33, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
