Guliolopez, in your recent edit summary you asked "has this practice not been discontinued?" You're correct, it was. Some details here: here. The section could probably do with a severe trim. The source for a lot of it is "Clans of Ireland", which is a private company that seems to let anyone press a claim for clanship on payment of the appropriate fee.
