Tone marks

Intro format

As above, the tone marks certainly shouldn't be there. Further, editor came by with blind observance of State of X... eh, the "state" is necessary to disambiguate the titles, but it's not the "state of Cai". It was the "March of Cai" or just "Cai" and the format "the state of X was a Chinese state" is ridiculous on its face. Finally, {{zh}} has numerous problems and takes up far too much space, but that conversation is ongoing at its talk page; in the meantime, we can minimize its damage by employing the {{lang}} template to note that the text is Chinese without actually using {{zh}} itself. — LlywelynII 16:28, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

As for the "But we want them to all look the same argument"... Feh. I don't see why we can't improve one page at a time, but it's 12:30 here in Shanghai and I'm going to bed. If it's really necessary to improve all 30 pages or none at all, I prefer all, but I can't do it now. Others are welcome to carry on the good work, though. — LlywelynII 16:30, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

"Taking it to the talk page" does not mean reverting my edit before I or anyone else have a chance to say anything.
