Name
editThe name "Catto Long Barrow" may be preferred by historians and archaeologists, but the site is known locally as "Cairn Catto". --Deskford (talk) 20:43, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
- Revisiting this a few years on, it appears that the name "Cairn Catto" is widely used, and the name "Catto Long Barrow" seems to originate in a user contribution to a discussion site. I have moved the page, and added references to more reliable sources: Aberdeenshire Council and Canmore. These sources may be useful for further expansion if anyone should care to spend some time on the article - or indeed if I do so myself, possibly after a gap of a few more years! --Deskford (talk) 22:03, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
