Help with idiomatic Spanish phrases

As of this date, the content of this article depends on the translation of 2 Spanish phrases. I am not adequately versed in Spanish to do justice to these. The phrases are, I believe, somewhat idiomatic and should be translated by someone truly fluent in both Spanish and English. They are: "los criterios técnicos-deportivos" and the team motto "un equipo para creer, un equipo para crecer."
In particular, the first half of the motto may mean a "team to believe in" or it may also mean "a team that believes in itself" or may intentionally ambiguously mean both which would be harder to capture in an English phrase that still has the cadence of a pithy motto. Having spoken to a number of native Spanish speakers, I am satisfied that the English translation of the team's motto is probably as good as it can be. The connotation of "para creer" in this phrase as confidence or belief in itself seems to be a minority interpretation, particularly among Spanish speakers (as distinct from Latin American Spanish speakers) and in the context of a professional team. In researching this, however, a few other shades of meaning became evident in the second half of the motto. "para crecer" may have the meaning not only of growth in numbers or in accomplishments, but may also express the sense of growing up or maturing. I think that the English phrase "for growth" probably adequately carries these same shades of meaning while retaining the cadence of a motto. Transonic Crayon (talk) 11:19, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

There is a view among native Spanish speakers that even though the the phrase "técnicos-deportivos" incorporates the word for sports, the English translation should probably leave "sports" out as being understood in the context of a coach's statement. Under this line of reasoning the terms "diferencias" and "técnicos" might be translated as "professional differences." I think "importantes diferencias" is better translated as "major differences" than "important differences" as this would be the typical phrase in English. Detail of principal sponsor and team operations

From publicly available information it is not clear whether the professional team is sponsored by the whole of Grupo Caja Rural or by Caja Rural de Nevarra, one of the Grupo's member banks that is located in Pamplona. Few articles dwell on this distinction. It may be that the professional teams are Grupo sponsored and the amateur teams are sponsored by CR de Nevarra, either explicitly or as a matter of practice. There is mention in the press that Club Deportivo Preventia (CD Preventia) operates the team on behalf of Caja Rural, but the relationship is unclear. The same is true of the relationship with Club Ciclista Burunda. Club Ciclista Burunda appears to have its own amateur teams in its own name as well as amateur U-23 and Elite amateur teams sponsored by Caja Rural. Rationale for history prior to 2010 "formation"

History and team names are included prior to the formation of the pro team known only by "Caja Rural" because (i) from speaking to those who follow Spanish and Basque cycling, from the tone of some of the relevant articles I have read and from the team's own official history, it seems clear that Caja Rural is not generally considered nor does it consider itself to be a 2010 start-up, and (ii) readers doing additional research will quickly find references such as "Kaiku-Caja Rural" in published material prior to 2010 or even rider's affiliations being referred to simply as "Caja Rural" in the 1980s (e.g. Marino Lejarreta's Team Infobox).
