Suggested Move

edit

It seems to me that Caldecott Medal is a significantly more likely target for "Caldecott" than any of the other entries. I'm suggesting that the article in its current state be moved to Caldecott (disambiguation), that Caldecott become a redirect to Caldecott Medal, and that the latter article be given a hatnote linking to the disambiguation. Does anyone object? Propaniac (talk) 01:33, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I screwed up the link in my most recent edit summary; it should have gone here. Propaniac (talk) 14:53, 17 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Caldecott (disambiguation)Caldecott – No primary topic for "Caldecott" alone, the medal gets 3,579 views but Caldecott MRT station has 1,782, the tunnel has 996 and Abingdon, OxfordshireCaldecott, Oxfordshire (which is a full match) has 626. Google doesn't appear to return any results for the medal, most are for the place in Oxfordshire, Images shows more for the medal but there are other results and Books mainly returns people with the surname. • Caldecott, Oxfordshire, not Abingdon, no? This also isn't a !vote yet as I need to look into this more, but a couple flags:
  • I'd be cautious about local bias with the Google results -- without location bias, almost all the results appear to be about the medal.
  • The current spike in views for the Singapore station appears to be because of an expansion about to open, whereas a year or two years ago it had much less.
