Copyright problem
editIt has just been uncovered that one of the more prolific editors of this article, User:Hassanaskia, has a history of violating our copyright policies, and unfortunately he has tainted this article as well. (See Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/20131014b.) Substantial content he has placed here has already been identified as having been copied from several external sources. The article needs to be rewritten to remove all of the content he added. This seems to have been the last edit before he began working on the article. It is possible to revert to it and use it as a base to begin adding back content that was provided by others. I do greatly apologize to those of you working in good faith who are set back by this problem, but unfortunately we cannot allow the copyright infringement to stand. :/ --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:53, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
- It appears that User:Hassanaskia's changes were removed a while ago. Should this copyright problem section be removed to make this clear? NathanBullock (talk) 21:52, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Calgary Stampeders. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

mascot Harvey
editApparently Stampeders had another mascot (but is not mentioned in Calgary_Stampeders wikipedia article). Harvey the Hound says "second mascot for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League" ("second" part seems unsourced) with CBC ref that says "Harvey the Hound is also the former mascot of the Calgary Stampeders." --EarthFurst (talk) 05:56, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
- @EarthFurst. They used to have Ralph the Dog. When Ralph Brock (Winnipeg QB) announced he wanted to be called Dieter Brock henceforth, rumour said it was because he was worried people were going to nickname him Ralph the Dog like the Calgary mascot. All anecdotal, of course; I don't know where to find reliable sources about Ralph the Dog. Indefatigable (talk) 01:34, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
