@UtherSRG: - is this one File:Sternula antillarum (California least tern) nesting FWS (cropped).jpg better? Or File:Sternula antillarum.jpg? The one I'd removed (File:California Least Tern.jpg) is so bad (very blurry) that I've nominated it for deletion at Commons; it really is dreadful! What was your reason for reinstating it over File:California Least Tern sitting on nest, Tijuana Slough NWR (6797959111).jpg? - MPF (talk) 09:08, 27 June 2024 (UTC)

Only the background is blurry and it shows the whole bird, while yours shows only the upper half. Either of the others are good. - UtherSRG (talk) 10:52, 27 June 2024 (UTC)

Thanks! Actually the bird is decidedly blurry too, if you look at the pic full size; no serious feather detail visible. I'll change to File:Sternula antillarum.jpg, which I've just renamed at Commons to File:Sternula antillarum browni, San Luis Obispo, California 1.jpg to give it a more informative name - MPF (talk) 13:29, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
