The article was expanded, so it's eligible. It is free of copyvio, the image seems to be ok (it's anonymous and from 1915's book, so is highly likely to be in PD), the hook is interesting. Qpq done. The article is well-sourced, but all the sources are books (and some not in English) I have no access to. I'll approve it, article is very nice, and it would be great to see it later as GAN!
