Future Additions to the page

Hello fellow Wikipedians, I am planning on drastically expanding this page as a project for one of my Environmental Studies classes at Sacramento State University. In order to do this I will be following the format and information detailed in this outline.

Camanche Reservoir In the first section I will not be adding much to what already exists there. I will add some information on what entities run and operate the reservoir as well as who developed the area.
Hydrology For the hydrology section I will be adding more information on the rivers and streams that input to the reservoir. I will also detail the amount of outflow released from the reservoir and how it acts for flood mitigation. I will also briefly discuss the normal water levels of the dam and how the drought may have impacted it.
Biology/Biodiversity For the biology and biodiversity I will be inputting information regarding the local and native species. I will also be addressing the introduced species and any species that are threatened or endemic to the area. There will be both plant and animal species included. The annual fish input to the reservoir will also be discussed. 

History For the history section the additional information will include the towns that were developed in the area prior to the construction of the reservoir. I will also discuss the history of the where the reservoir received its name. The history will also include how this region was prior to European settlement. Geology I will briefly discuss the geology of the surrounding area and how it may have influenced the settlement of the area. I will also discuss how it might influence the hydrology. Climate I discuss the typical climate of the region and how it influences biodiversity and biology. Recreation In this section I will add current information regarding any recommendation and revise and edit the current information. Future Addition update

Camanche Reservoir The Camanche Reservoir is owned and operated by the East Bay Municipal Utility District. The reservoir stores water for irrigation and to meet the demand of downstream water rights holders, provides flood protection through stream flow regulation, provides a variety of recreation, and is located downstream of the Pardee Reservoir.

Biology/Biodiversity Camanche reservoir contains a variety of fish species which attracts many people who enjoy fishing. The reservoir has species of bass, trout, crappie, and catfish among other species. There are also a variety of bird species located near the reservoir. Birdwatching is a part of the recreation at Camanche Reservoir and self-guided bird walks are allowed as well as bird watching tours. Some bird species include various duck species, Great Egrets, multiple woodpecker species, Turkey Vulutres, and multiple sparrow species. There is also a large amount of songbird species that live in the surrounding area near the reservoir.

Climate Camanche Reservoir is located in what is known as a Mediterranean Climate. Characteristics of the climate near Camanche Reservoir include relatively low annual rainfall, warm to hot summers, and cool mild winters. The majority of the annual precipitation is in the form of rain, and falls mainly during the winter months. The area has very high sun intensities during the summer months and relatively low humidity.

Recreation

There are over 500 campsites and 200 RV locations located around the reservoir. Many campsites include facilities such as bathrooms, tables, heated showers, laundry facilities and barbeques. These sites are available year round. Cottage and motel rooms are also available for those who do not want stay in tents. Camanche Reservoir is known for bass and trout fishing and has more than 50,000 pounds of trout stocked in the reservoir each year. State fishing licenses are required for anyone over the age of 16, and there is a five dollar fishing fee. Boat rentals are also available at the reservoir, as well as 8-lane boat launches at each shore. Any boat entering the reservoir is subject to inspection to help prevent the spread of invasive Quagga Muscles. An amphitheater is also located at the reservoir which has various events. Stores are located at each marina for any food needs. There is also the North Shore Café and the South Shore Marina Grill for visitors to purchase food or drinks. Dogs are allowed at the reservoir for a small fee and must remain on leashes throughout the visit.

Classmate Review

First, what does the article do well? Is there anything from your review that impressed you? Any turn of phrase that described the subject in a clear way? The article lays out the information structurally well .I found the diversity particularly interesting , when mentioned in the piece. I also feel like there is a good connection between ecological regional characteristics.

What changes would you suggest the author apply to the article? Why would those changes be an improvement?

There should be a bigger distinction, and flow of information between the reservoir and recreation activities. The recreation activities seem relevant, but their may need to be a connection on how the other sub topics connect or potentially impact the recreation activities. I suggest possibly a table inputted to show the biodiversity in the reservoir area. but, overall it is a good start to an article. 

What's the most important thing the author could do to improve the article? There could be greater incorporation of websites. This will bring out the credibility of the information provided.I noticed a section specifically note present and past climate issues. Response to Peer Review

Thank you for reviewing what I have done so far on this article. I plan to incorporate all suggestions made in the review. I will definitely incorporate more websites into the article to add relevancy and accredibility to the information for those who read the article.
