Sequence of 'Other charted songs'

Being irrationally reverted by Ss112 (talk · contribs) so I have to use talk page. The current sequence seems to be based on Irish Singles Chart. But Cabello is a Cuban-American singer. Isn't it strange? --U990467 (talk) 10:26, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

It's the simple order of how songs were first put on the page. It's not because of the Irish Singles Chart, it's actually just the sequence I placed the songs in as I looked down the first chart I looked at (the New Zealand singles chart). I undid my edits for the moment because I didn't realise how many reverts I had performed. Why do editors need to follow track listing order? Is it just for any kind of order? So many songs entered the chart at the same time. Different countries, different peaks. It hard to sort them simply based on 'Charts'. You can refer to Taylor Swift discography or Ariana Grande discography. --U990467 (talk) 10:37, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

Well, the charts weren't all published at the same time. The New Zealand chart is the first chart published in a chart week (Friday–Thursday). And yes, but I think you've chosen those because they are two discographies you have contributed extensively to. Personally I wouldn't call either of those pages impeccable examples—they've changed quite a bit since being promoted to FA status, and I notice that Ariana Grande discography is currently fully protected due to editing disputes so there's evidently some disagreement about the standards of it, if we're supposed to follow those. Actually, I didn't edit the section of 'Other charted songs' both on these two pages. And Ariana Grande discography was fully protected due to a song's single release, not caused by fight for sequence of 'Other charted songs'. Well, even if it is a feature of featured lists (which I know that it commonly is—I'm not disputing that it exists), it's not required or something even covered in promotion of an article to FA. That's all I'm saying. Ss112 10:55, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

You can't combinate both versions to singles cause the solo version is promotional and the feautring is a single. This version is ok, but do not add Belgium, only 10 chart peak posititons. --Miaow 16:07, 27 December 2018 (UTC)

Real Friends (remix) and album version are both promotional singles so should be altogether clubbed under "promotional singles". Nowhere on internet is it confirmed to be a single released by Camila Cabello.

Certifications of both singles Consequences & OMG

Being repeatedly reverted by Miaow (talk · contribs) so I have to use talk page. According to this, Camila Cabello's single Consequences is actually certified Gold in Canada. It does need a discussion. Secondly, I can't get why she actually could see "May 30, 2018 Platinum Single Camila Cabello OMG" said here and then said "It says Gold (featuring Quavo)". --H9v9n9 (talk) 23:18, 2 January 2019 (UTC)

According to this, "OMG" is already certified Platinum in Canada, whether Music Canada credits (featuring Quavo) or not, because she doesn't have another song called "OMG" apart from "OMG (ft. Quavo)". Moreover, I admit that "Consequences" (orchestra) is the single and I don't have any source saying "Consequences" (album version) is also released singly at present and I don't want to alter this, however, the Music Canada certification only credits the original version (RIAA certification too), even the Number 1 hit Girls Like You didn't credits Cardi B in its RIAA certificatoon but credited the original version. According to Maroon 5 discography, the Girls Like You (ft. Cardi B) certification just used the certification for both versions actually which only credited the original version because of the rules made by the certification organization. In the future, the problematic question will be raised again, because Consequences (orchestra) will never be certified separately from Consequences (album version) by both Music Canada and RIAA and they will only credit both versions together, though actually the certification directs to the single Consequences and it's not necessary to list this gold certification to the album version into Camila Cabello discography#Other charted songs. Consequences (Original version) was released as official single in October 9, 2018

Both versions are officially third and final single off Camila. The original version impacted the contemporary hit radio firstly on Oct 9, the orchestra version impacted secondly on Oct 16. This is the proofthe original version of Consequences was impact the US contemporary hit radio in Oct 9, 2018. So, both versions are supposed to listed as Cabello's single on Camila Cabello discography#As lead artist.--H9v9n9(talk) 21:36, 14 January 2019 (UTC)

A suggestion on February 18, 2019: "Never Be the Same" ft. Kane Brown wasn't released as single

Can someone please explain why Camila Cabello discography single as lead artist section listed both "Never Be the Same" Original version and featuring Kane Brown version as official singles? Obviously the charted positions are the original version's. The remix didn't charted. Halsey discography also didn't list "Without Me" original version together with "Without Me ft. Juice WRLD" remix, but listed Alone Remix because "Alone ft. Big Sean & Stefflon Don" was released as official single, and shot a music video and was re-added to the album tracklist. "Never Be the Same ft. Kane Brown" was the same as "Without Me ft. Juice WRLD" and "7 rings ft. 2 Chainz". Same as a single?

Uh.. why is same put as a single in her discography? It got registered on bmi but we all know that it can be faked. Plus camila has never mentioned the song at all... nor released a snippet with the word "same". You should remove that.

Why would Billiekhalidfan insist "Never Be the Same" Remix featuring Kane Brown is on discography?

"Bad Guy" with Justin Bieber isn’t on Billie Eilish discography. "Without Me" with/featuring Juice WRLD isn’t on Halsey discography. Both these remixes are not officially the artists’ singles. So why insist re-adding the (solo or featuring Kane Brown) when it’s already discussed and not allowed to be re-added? Problems? Clearly don’t do this because of you seeing both versions of Consequences appearing on the discography and being misleaded by it because both versions of Consequences impacted US radio and are officially the third single off Camila but "Never Be the Same" Remix isn’t an official single because the original version is already an official single, similarly, "Havana (Remix)" with Daddy Yankee. "Cry for Me" and "Easy" as singles.

I saw the link to the manager's Twitter post in Talk:Romance (Camila Cabello album). It seems that he is saying that there are no singles from the album; he is not only referring to "Cry for Me" and "Easy" if I'm not mistaken. His post is clearly not true because Epic Records did confirm that "Liar" and "Shameless" are singles [3] and those two songs will be in the album. CountyCountry (talk) 00:22, 14 November 2019 (UTC)

Cinderella Soundtrack

I had a question, should the Cinderella soundtrack be added to her discography? Maybe as a soundtrack category? Or since it’s a soundtrack full of covers maybe just adding “Million To One” to ‘Guest Appearances’ since it’s only the original song covered by her or will it not be added at all?
