editWikipedia articles must be based on reliable sources to verify any claims of notability. Even though the lack of reliable sources in an article is not grounds for deletion in itself, an article with absolutely no sources (or only external links to unreliable ones) suggests to some editors that multiple reliable sources may not, in fact, exist.
Although I am considering tagging this article for deletion according to the Deletion policy, perhaps User:EditorName (talk · contribs), or other recent contributors to this article, will make some constructive improvements to it ... I do not have time to examine this article in depth at the moment, and it may improve over time, in which case this warning was premature.
Please respond on this Discussion page, instead of on my Talk page, in order to avoid fragmenting the conversation.
To better understand why I have used this template, please read Flag templates for deletion warnings ... I realize that some of the expressed possible concerns may not be appropriate in this case. — Mvching (talk) 15:21, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
This article about a Philippine government official is libelous. Attribution/reference list is very much needed.
Suggestion: move to Sandbox. This page is important, but it was written poorly.
Consider the first two paragraphs:
Camilo Sabio is a public lawyer and past chairman of the Philippines' Presidential Commission on Good Government currently indicted for his role in government corruption. Facts point to his illegal dispensing of funds recently retrieved by past Chairwoman Haydee Yorac from the ill-gotten wealth of Ferdinand Marcos. He previously held the position of Secretary-General in the Philippine House of Representatives from 1992 to 1998 under Jose de Venecia.
Sabio earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Xavier University (Ateneo de Cagayan) as valedictorian with a gold medal for academic excellence though it did no good due to his lack of integrity and common sense. He finished his Bachelor of Laws from the Ateneo de Manila University also as valedictorian with gold medal for academic excellence. Joined the Law Firm of Feria, Manglapus & Associates. He was professor, Political Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, and International Law in the Ateneo de Manila Law School.
