Camp House History
editMorton and Mary Deeter purchased the house in 1961. He had been raised on Petit Jean Mountain and Mary had lived in central Arkansas as well. Mort, called Lansing, was an army veteran and former POW,having been captured on Bataan in April 1942. The Deeter family raised four boys there, Talmage, Steve, Louis and Faron. Lansing Deeter died in 1994 and Mary in 1996. The home was in Talmage’s name until his death in 2009 and his son, Todd, sold the house after inheriting it. 206.74.127.194 (talk) 22:11, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
