The bar
editThis is my favorite bar in Manhattan. What is the name of the dark rum I drank neat on the way home from work when it was raining? Can't remember and no one in the OC knows what I'm talking about. It never rains here😏 Debbie Isaacs (talk) 23:47, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Campbell Apartment. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20170616010230/http://gothamist.com/2017/05/17/campbell_apartment_reopened.php to http://gothamist.com/2017/05/17/campbell_apartment_reopened.php

Should we rename the article to reflect the bar's current name?
editBecause the bar reopened in 2017 as "The Campbell," should we rename this article to suit? PRRfan (talk) 17:08, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
- @Simon-dedovsk: please contribute to this discussion instead of moving pages. You can attract more attention too by asking relevant WikiProjects. I disagree with the page renaming, as the "Campbell Apartment" is its longstanding WP:COMMONNAME. ɱ (talk) 18:24, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
- Why not? Wikipedia is to describe the present reality as is. Simon-dedovsk (talk) 06:43, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- No, that's a misunderstanding of how Wikipedia works. Oftentimes, a subject is best known for its historical name or attributes, or for a common name rather than its official name. Please read Wikipedia:Article titles, especially WP:COMMONNAME. ɱ (talk) 12:47, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Simon-dedovsk: Do you have anything more to say here - did you read the pages I linked just above? ɱ (talk) 18:09, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
