Sentence needs editing
The sentence, "Canada's first Prime Minister, John A. Macdonald, the protectionist National Policy attempted and failed to reinstate reciprocity, after which the government moved to a more protectionist policy." is awkward and confusing. I could fix the syntax, but the result might not be historically accurate. It might be best for someone familiar with the topic to go back in the history of this article for a clear, factual, wording. Tetsuo (talk) 13:51, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
