Talk:Canadians in the United Kingdom

Name Change

edit

Again, there has been a name change by COP663 that I don't think really covers the article. The original name 'Canadian-Britons' was questionable, but the article really isn't about a population movement. What about 'Britons with Canadian ancestory'? See Talk:American migration to Britain. Your suggestion is somewhat more appropriate to this particular article, but is likely to restrict the growth of this already short article. Cop 663 (talk) 20:15, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Following on from your excellent 'Americans in Britain' suggestion, what about 'Canadians in Britain'. Covers all the angles nicely, given that - like Americans - not all Canadians in Britain are permanant settlers. Indisciplined (talk) 01:07, 10 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
That certainly covers everything in this article, assuming one interprets 'Canadian' loosely to include 'former Canadians' (like Conrad Black). Cop 663 (talk) 02:55, 10 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notable people section

edit

I've removed the notable people section because it was unsourced. If anyone wants to reinstate it, with reliable sources as references, I've pasted it below as it appeared prior to removal. Cordless Larry (talk) 23:48, 27 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
