Canal 5 (Televisa Network)Canal 5 (Mexico) – The article was briefly moved to this location by another editor in 2011 then moved back here under the reasoning that there were other "Canal 5" stations in Mexico. However, since October 27, 2016, all stations using virtual channel 5 in Mexico are carrying the Canal 5 network. The number is now reserved for the network, and local stations that had been on channel 5 had to find new virtual channel numbers. Returning to the original name brings this page in line with others, like Canal 13 (Chile) and Canal 6 (Nicaragua), on similarly named national networks. Similarly, the disambiguation guideline suggests parentheticals should "[avoid] proper nouns ... as much as possible". The use of Televisa, a proper noun, in the disambiguation page does not follow this guideline. Raymie (tc) 04:43, 24 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Support Televisa Networks is the name of Televisa's pay TV channels, while Canal 5 is a national over-the-air network. The current name is misleading as it could be thought of as a pay TV network. Moreover, this channel, even before the national virtual channel rearrangement of 2016, had always been reffered and advertised nationwide as Canal 5 despite its analog channel position and other existing networks using VHF channel 5 (which was, together with the rest of the networks that did the same thing, the main reason for the virtual channel arrangement in the first place).MexTDT (talk) 23:31, 29 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Al servicio de la communidad

edit

I believe that you should add a paragraph about "Al Servicio de la Comunidad". To really inform people about the capsules of Al Servicio de la comunidad. 2601:681:0:7DB0:8093:6E0B:2CD8:B7DF (talk) 23:49, 18 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
