Blackadder reference?
editWhen Cameron confronts Wilson and Cuddy about misleading House over the success of his previous case, she chides them to "come up with a cunning plan, and fast". Daen 13:49, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, seems almost to perfect to be a mistake. Added to the article. --128.240.229.65 19:01, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
Sequencing?
editI remember the team comparing the DNA samples from the initial "bad" cells to the boy's normal cells, but I don't recall them sequencing his DNA. They do this routinely (maybe not as quickly) in legal (criminal) cases, unless TV is making that all up; They certainly do it in paternity testing. I don't think comparing DNA is the same as sequencing it. Or did I miss another part where they actually sequence his DNA? TheHYPO (talk) 17:05, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
I agree... I'm not certain that they'd normally test the dna, but if they did checking whether two sources of dna came from the same person is definitely not a million dollar operation. I'm removing the "goof" for now, if anyone wants to add it again please include a few citations. Themania (talk) 03:24, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
When House returns to his team with his epiphany, and starts with "How come one person ends up with two sets of DNA... blah-blah-blah our assumptions are faulty," Chase then says, "We've confirmed two different sets of DNA; we re-ran the sequence." So at least the term is used in the episode itself. Latreia (talk) 19:37, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
Not being a doctor I wouldn't know, but if you consistently get conflicting results from bloodwork on a patient to make sure no ones switching a sample out or anything I'd probably imagine they test to make sure the blood samples are from the same person.--74.131.91.57 (talk) 13:54, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
X-Files references?
editChip in the neck, abduction scene, watches stopping - all that seems to be one big X-Files reference. 212.75.204.52 (talk) 13:11, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
This is not a hidden reference that needs to be specified. After they find that the boy's DNA doesn't match the DNA of the heart tissue they biopsied, they are back in the conference room, House standing before the whiteboard and saying, "Anybody watched any X-Files that inspired an explanation?" So it's not a real cross-reference. Latreia (talk) 20:12, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
