Paxton lawsuit
editTwillisjr, I'm not sure if you noticed or not, but the mention of the Paxton lawsuit was never removed from the article, I just moved it to the section above that covers those five cities decriminalizing in 2022, and also added some information about the lawsuit. I think you probably didn't happen to notice this judging from your edit summary, but if there is some disagreement you would like to discuss we can do so here.--Jamesy0627144 (talk) 19:28, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
- There is a lack of balance on the article. Consider the quantity of information on this article page regarding ending prohibition, in relation to the size of a single act to revert all of it (By Paxton). I think presenting the information’s size may be necessary. As it stands, a single line reverting multiple paragraphs over several years is a bit strange. - He's only suing those five cities though, because there is something specific about those measures, all of which were initiated by the group Ground Game Texas, which prevents the enforcement of state law. He's not trying to reverse every reform that has passed in the state, as you seem to be saying.--Jamesy0627144 (talk) 21:28, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
