10-22mm vs 16-35mm FOV

edit

The text "The lens' angle of view is equivalent to a 16-35 mm on a 35 mm camera" should be deleted. The lens is an EF-S mount. A 10-22mm EF-S lens is equavelent to a 10-22mm EF lens on a full frame camera. There is no crop factor.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.83.148.222 (talkcontribs)

That would be incorrect. The EF-S mount lenses always report the focal length that the glass provides, which would be 10mm-20mm, the crop still exists. http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-S-10-22mm-f-3.5-4.5-USM-Lens-Review.aspx -J.reed (talk) 06:06, 19 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
In the "similar lenses" section, the Nikon lens could be seperated better from the other lenses, since it is of course not available in EF(-S) mount. Also there is now a Nikon 10-24mm DX, which would be a better comparison. 87.160.132.140 (talk) 12:32, 12 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Should image stabilization be changed to "yes"? I thought that all EF-S lenses had lens stabalization? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.137.241.81 (talk) 14:11, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

No, the EF-S 10-22mm does not have image stabilization. Nebrot (talk) 16:35, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
