Article needs expansion
editThis article needs some serious expansion. Most additions(which most have been removed), have been short, single sentence edits. Some have even been copy/paste edits, weasel words, or just speculation (no citations). It seems that most have been made in haste, and without much consideration for making a good article. Clearly, we need to make some serious effort to write an article that is informative and factual.
I think unless a user is willing to make such a contribution, they should not. More than likely, it will be removed. That's not a threat, but merely an observation of what has happened up to this point. Thanks. Nebrot (talk) 02:40, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- It's hard to expand when the camera hasn't been released yet. When we see it and people have reviewed it, expansion will come much easier. Also, most Canon EOS DSLR articles are shit, lists of specs and plenty of copy-and-pasted stuff. I've removed most of it, but in its void we must get sourced information. hbdragon88 (talk) 23:23, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- The EOS 1000D has been available in Europe since June 2008. I purchased mine in early August. Market availability can easily be verified by doing a search for "Canon EOS 1000D" on e.g. http://shopping.kelkoo.co.uk/ or similar websites. Dpreview even reviewed it several months ago.[1] 83.89.16.138 (talk) 05:03, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
