editRegarding the notable issue -- I noticed many writing groups in Canada and other places in the world are already on Wikipedia. Crime Writers of Canada being one. CCW has run an annual mystery conference for cash prizes each year. It has many notable published authors and editors in Ottawa that belong, such as Barbara Fradkin, Rick Mofina, Mary Jane Maffini, Brenda Chapman, R.J. Harlick, C.B. Forrest, Linda Wiken, Nadine Doolittle, Kate Jaimet, Sue Pike, Vicki Cameron, Vicki Delany, Alex Brett, Thomas Rendell Curran. It has been in existence for 20 years and has an affiliation with the Ottawa Public Library. CCW ran the Bloody Words National Mystery Conference in 2003 and 2009. They promote literacy and support emerging writers at special events and monthly meetings. Thanks Katherinehobbs (talk) 22:09, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
