I'll be reviewing this article. The title definitely caught my attention. APK hi :-) (talk) 08:29, 11 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

History...

  • I feel like a lot more could be added here. This has some good quotes, this notes the locksmith owner said “it’s wired in, so it has to have been removed with care, and on purpose.”, this noting how it kind of fit in with the neighborhood's quirky reputation, this talking about the construction taking place around the machine when it disappeared, gives more examples of photoshopped images since the disappearance, mentions the 2022 FB post, and I would mention something based on this quote ("But is Capitol Hill still weird enough for a persistent enigma that isn’t corporate-sponsored?") so people unfamiliar with Seattle can better understand the area. So that was just 4 references that I looked at that could help expand the article. I'm sure there's more in some of the other sources.

Let me know your thoughts on the matter when you get a chance. APK hi :-) (talk) 08:52, 11 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the quick review, APK! It really is an interesting title, isn't it? I'm currently working on your suggestion to expand the prose with quotes. I will note that I had to heavily filter some of the sources for promotional fluff and unencyclopedic nonsense (especially whatever's going on with Schmader's article), but maybe my filter was a bit too heavy at times. I should be back in a couple hours with an update. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 02:41, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
@APK: I've implemented some of your suggestions and made a handful of additions throughout the article. Let me know if you have any additional comments! TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 06:00, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
